Cloudflare supports DNS over TLS on standard port 853 and is compliant with RFC7858 . With DoT, the encryption happens at the transport layer, where it adds TLS encryption on top of the user datagram protocol (UDP). How it works Cloudflare supports DNS over TLS (DoT) on 184.108.40.206 and 220.127.116.11 on port 853.

If Cloudflare allows setting specific ports via A / AAAA records, the standard is to wrap the DNS address in [ ] tags so that for you, it would look like [18.104.22.168]:40436 - that, again, is if Clouflare allows port config for DNS records. If not you can always only use port 40436 for you doman (or any particicluar sub/path) using page ...
Cloudflare can proxy traffic going over the HTTP/HTTPS ports listed below. If your traffic is on a different port, you can add it as a record in your CloudflareDNS zone file as something we don't proxy (gray cloud = no Cloudflare proxy or caching on a record). The HTTP ports that Cloudflare support are: 80 8080 8880 2052 2082 2086 2095
To configure DNS over TLS, go to the "Services > Unbound DNS > DNS over TLS" page. You will see the empty page the first time you visit it. Click on the "+" button to add a new DNS over TLS server. I am going to use CloudFlare'sDNS servers as an example, but it should work with any DoT server.
Both DNS over TLS and DNS over HTTPS encrypt plain DNS queries from the phone. DNS over HTTPS uses port 443 and DNS over TLS uses port 853. In some networks, one of these ports might be blocked. If port 443 is blocked, you should use DNS over TLS. If port 853 is blocked, you should use DNS over HTTPS. In some cases, DNS over TLS may be faster ...
